The world-leading and independent certification scheme for wood pellets held

a training in Plovdiv on June 2

The ENplus® certificate is managed by the European Pellet Council (EPC), which coordinates and develops the certification scheme in accordance with the characteristics of the pellet market. EPC is a network of Bioenergy Europe - an international bioenergy association founded in 1990 and uniting more than 40 associations and 90 companies. National pellet associations from 12 countries manage ENplus® locally and therefore receive the licensing rights from Bioenergy Europe for certification. The ENplus® certificate introduces quality classes and requirements for manufacturers, defined by European and international standards and guaranteeing the quality of pellets worldwide.

On June 2, in co-organization with the Energy Agency of Plovdiv, ENplus® implemented a training for Bulgarian quality managers, which was led by Valentins Kuksinovs, certification project manager at ENplus®, Dobromir Yankov, marketing manager at Bioenergy Europe and William Tagliapini from the certification organization Agribiomass S.r.l.

The qualification seminar was attended by 15 representatives from Bulgarian companies, manufacturers and suppliers of pellets, who successfully completed the training and received certificates.
